Walker: Season 5 – Bloodlines of Justice (2026)

Jared Padalecki, Molly Hagan, Keegan Allen, Lindsey Morgan, Odette Annable

“Every law has its limits. Every family has its breaking point.”

The legend of Texas lawman Cordell Walker rides again — but this time, the battle isn’t just against criminals… it’s against the ghosts of his own bloodline.

Months after the devastating events that fractured the Walker family, Cordell (Jared Padalecki) stands at a crossroads. Haunted by the loss of his wife and the toll of his badge, he’s a man torn between two worlds — the relentless pursuit of justice and the fragile hope of rebuilding his home.

When a covert criminal syndicate reemerges along the Texas border — one connected to the murder of his wife Emily — Walker’s investigation takes a dark turn. New evidence suggests her death was no random act of violence… but a warning meant to silence him.

The deeper he digs, the more he discovers that the rot isn’t only outside the law — it’s inside it.

Micki Ramirez (Lindsey Morgan) returns from a shadowy undercover mission, hardened and changed, but ready to stand by her old partner. Their bond, tested by betrayal and distance, becomes the emotional backbone of the season.

Meanwhile, Liam Walker (Keegan Allen) finds himself entangled in a web of political manipulation and moral compromise. As he rises through the ranks of Texas law, he’s forced to choose between loyalty to his brother and allegiance to the system.

At home, matriarch Abeline Walker (Molly Hagan) struggles to hold her fractured family together, even as old secrets threaten to tear them apart. And Geri (Odette Annable), torn between love and survival, finds herself drawn into the very conspiracy that could destroy everything Walker stands for.

This season takes the franchise to its most cinematic scale yet — from high-speed chases across the Texas desert to tense courtroom confrontations, and from quiet moments of prayer under endless skies to brutal shootouts in the oil fields.

But beneath the action lies something far more personal: a reckoning with legacy. As Cordell uncovers the dark truth behind his wife’s death, he must face the sins of the past — and decide whether justice is truly worth the cost of redemption.

With sweeping cinematography capturing the rugged beauty of Texas and a powerful score blending modern rock with old-west grit, Bloodlines of Justice explores what it means to protect what you love — even when the law can’t.

It’s not just a story of crime and punishment. It’s a story of fathers and sons, of forgiveness and vengeance, of the blood that ties a family together and the choices that can tear it apart.

“In Texas, justice wears many faces — and one of them bleeds.”

Scrooged 2 (2025)
Bill Murray, Karen Allen, John Forsythe

He’s back — older, wiser… and maybe just a little meaner.

More than three decades after his life-changing Christmas Eve, Frank Cross (Bill Murray) returns in Scrooged 2, a sharp, darkly funny, and surprisingly emotional sequel that proves redemption isn’t a one-night event — it’s a lifelong struggle.

Now a semi-retired media mogul turned philanthropist, Frank has spent years trying to make up for his past. He runs a charity, produces uplifting holiday specials, and even gives out bonuses — most of the time. But behind his forced smiles and “good guy” image, the old cynic still lurks, waiting for a reason to come out. When his new network venture — a flashy Christmas streaming empire — starts to spiral out of control, Frank finds himself once again facing his worst enemy: himself.

Karen Allen returns as Claire, now Frank’s long-suffering partner and the moral compass he still can’t quite keep up with. Their relationship is loving but strained — Claire wants authenticity, while Frank wants applause. But on another fateful Christmas Eve, Frank gets a shocking encore: a new trio of ghosts, each with their own modern edge and message for the digital age.

The Ghost of Christmas Past drags him through the legacy of his own “redemptive years,” revealing how ego can creep back in under the guise of good deeds. The Ghost of Christmas Present

shows him a world where charity is commodified and kindness is branded. And the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come? This time, it’s not just Frank’s future that’s at stake — it’s the soul of the holiday itself, in a world where meaning has been lost behind likes and views.

John Forsythe reappears in a touching, spectral cameo as Frank’s old mentor, once again rattling chains (and nerves) with that perfect mix of menace and wit.

Directed by Richard Donner Jr.

, son of the original’s visionary filmmaker, Scrooged 2 honors its classic roots while pushing the story into the modern media landscape — a satirical, heartfelt reflection on how easily even “good men” lose their way in a world built on vanity.

With Bill Murray at his sardonic best — older, more self-aware, but still delightfully unpredictable — the film blends biting humor with bittersweet reflection. It’s a Christmas story for the streaming generation, where redemption isn’t about one big miracle… it’s about showing up, day after day, and choosing to care.

Because the ghosts never really leave us — they just change with the times.
In Scrooged 2, Frank Cross learns that being good isn’t a performance… it’s a promise.
